Effective Monday, June 1st, Macclenny City Hall will return to normal business hours from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Our offices will be open to the public with the following guidelines:

Main Lobby: Customers are encouraged to use online, mail, and drop box for payments when possible. The main lobby will be open for customer service with a maximum of two (2) customers in the building at a time.

Building, zoning, and code enforcement office: will be open and will also have a limit of two (2) customers in the building at a time. Appointments are encouraged. Please call the building department at 904-259-7529 to schedule an appointment. If your group is larger than two (2) people, an appointment will be required.

This is a friendly reminder from the City of Macclenny. We are committed to our customers during this important time in our history. As we continue to adapt our business in response to COVID-19, we want to share an update on our ongoing actions that will help ensure the continued operations of Utilities, an essential service. In an effort to keep our customers and staff members safe, we have temporarily closed the office building to the general public. All utility payments are due by the due date listed on your bill. All utility payments can be placed in our drop box, paid online at www.cityofmacclenny.com, or set up for automatic bank draft.


If you have and questions or concerns during this time please call 904-259-6261 during our new business hours between 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 pm Monday through Thursday. Thank you for your assistance in this matter. Be safe.


Please check our website or the Baker County Sheriff’s Office website for further service-related updates, as they become available on COVID-19.


If you should have an emergency need on Friday, please call 904-259-6261 and press 7 to be connected to our City Emergency staff.

 

If you need to speak with a staff member during normal business hours regarding water, sewer, or garbage issues please call 904-259-6261 and press #1. For  the Building, Zoning and Code Enforcement issues please call 904-259-7529.

 

All utility payments can be mailed, placed in our drop-box located on the parking lot side of our City Hall building, or paid online (link at top of this page).

 

All drop-box payments need to be in a sealed envelope with your account information included.

 

With the exception of City Hall all other city services continue to operate under their normally scheduled hours. We are following the COVID-19 updates as they unfold and will post updates on our website and Facebook pages. We are also doing our part to help stop the spread of the virus and encourage you to do the same. Thank you for your help during this crisis.

Today, Governor Ron DeSantis issued Executive Order 20-91, requiring all persons in Florida to limit their movements and personal interactions outside of their home to only those necessary to obtain or provide essential services or conduct essential activities... This is NOT a "stay at home" order but rather a "safer at home" order, please adhere to CDC guidelines of social distancing staying at least 6 feet apart in groups no larger than 10 persons.

This "Safer At Home" order shall take effect at 12:01am April 3, 2020 and will expire on April 30, 2020 unless extended by subsequent order.
